Once Upon a Time in a Forest
A documentary film that unfolds like a modern fairy tale, set deep in the Finnish forests, where young activists fight for the survival of the forest.
22-year-old Ida is driven by her love for the forest and becomes the leader of the new Forest Movement, which stands against the Finnish forestry industry. What follows is as much a battle against large corporations as it is a generational conflict. This beautiful and hopeful documentary is a tribute to the Nordic forests and those who protect them.
