OSLOPITCH 2026 // Tuesday 25.08
How do you tell engaging stories about something as fundamental – and political – as work?
Fifteen exciting projects on the theme of "working life" will be presented to a panel of industry judges and the public at Vega Scene on 25 August. The best pitch will be awarded a prize of NOK 100,000, given by SpareBank 1 Østlandet.
VIKEN FOKUS #28 // Thursday 27.08
Viken FOKUS is a monthly meetup focused on skills and talent development. More information about the event during this year's festival will follow after the summer.

REGIDAGEN 2026 // Thursday 27.08
Norske filmregissører and Oslo Pix Filmfestival invite you to Regidagen at Vega Scene during this year's festival.
The event takes place in Vega 1 from 10.00 to 15.00 on Thursday 27.08. Throughout the day there will be conversations with directors in the spotlight.
The event will primarily be in Norwegian.
WTF is international potential // Friday 28.08
In recent years, Norwegian film has experienced unparalleled international recognition. The question the industry is now asking itself is: how do we consolidate and build on this momentum?
Confirmed guests include Scott Roxborough, head of The Hollywood Reporter's European bureau, and Heidi Zwicker from Sundance Film Festival.
The event takes place at Cinemateket in Oslo at 12.30.

Oslo Filmmakers is an open and social community for «emerging filmmakers» in Oslo – made for all professionals and film workers who want to make films, meet others and grow together.
