Kafe Oslo, Oslo Pix Film Festival and The House of Literature in Oslo serves the best things in the world: Food, film and poetry! Welcome to a film and literature inspired culinary evening, based on the film THE MENU.

The film focuses on a group of food enthusiasts who travel to a remote island to have a food experience completely out of the ordinary. The restaurant Hawthorne is run by the renowned and very strict chef Slowik, who has prepared an impressive menu, and a few dark surprises, for the guests.

The chefs at Kafe Oslo are inspired by the film and have freely interpreted Slowik’s fantastic dishes, served as a 6-course menu. Throughout the evening there will also be short literary anecdotes.
