Håkan Bråkan
A wild Swedish action-comedy for the entire family about Håkan Bråkan, who just wants to play video games in peace but must work with the world’s most boring babysitter to save the neighbourhood from a dangerous pair of burglars.
All screenings of the film are in Swedish with English subtitles.
Håkan loves the online game WoriYagi, and currently, he has the chance to win an awesome gaming station via an in-game tournament. His parents are away, so he must stay with a babysitter without access to his own PC. Luckily, his babysitter Amanda is one of the world’s top WoriYagi players! But then he learns of the shocking truth: She has stopped playing and become just another boring teenager who wants to party with her peers. Only allowed to use a super slow family PC, Håkan takes charge: He needs to get home, but the road there is littered with burglars, a murderous lawn mower and an ostrich.
A family film with plenty of punch and humor, but also a few good lessons about being oneself, teamwork, and responsibility. The film is based on the character of the same name, the little brother of Sune in the beloved book series about him. Håkan Bråkan was a box office hit in Sweden, and a sequel is on its way.
