The festival audiences have chosen their favorite
Hello World is the winner of the Audience Award at Oslo Pix 2021.
The fourth edition of Oslo Pix is over, and it has been an extraordinary festival edition in more than one sense. In addition to the digital festival program, the re-opening of Oslo finally made it possible to screen films in the cinema – which is the best place to watch film, after all.

Winner of the Audience Award is Hello World

All the films in this year's festival program have competed for the Audience Award, and the winner is Hello World by Kenneth Elvebakk, which had its world premiere at the festival. It was screened in cinemas with director Elvebakk present, as well as a part of our digital program and Pix Ung.
– I am incredibly proud and happy that the audience has voted for the film, and that Hello World has won the Audience Award. It has been wonderful to premiere the film at Oslo Pix. We have been able to arrange cinema screenings, which is a big event in itself, but the most powerful aspect has been screening the finished film for the main participants – Dina, Runa, Viktor, Joachim and their parents, Elvebakk says in a statement.
Hello World is now showing at the Norwegian broadcaster TV2.
