Dag Johan Haugerud
Dag Johan Haugerud (born 1964) is an author and filmmaker. He studied to become a librarian at Oslo University College, with minor subjects in film studies, theatre studies and creative writing.
He made his feature film debut with I BELONG (2012), and has since directed several award-winning and critically acclaimed films, such as BEWARE OF CHILDREN (2019) and the trilogy SEX, DREAMS, LOVE (2024).
In 2025, DREAMS became the first Norwegian film to win the Golden Bear for best film at the Berlin International Film Festival.
