Andres Heger-Bratterud

Andres Heger-Bratterud (b. 1985) graduated from the London Film School in 2015. He previously studied philosophy and psychology at the University of Oslo, and film directing in New York. He has written and directed numerous campaign and commercial films (several award-winners), and three short films:

The Door To (2015) was well-received by critics, including in The Times, and had a theatrical release in the UK as part of an anthology film under the segment New Talents.

Courted (2017) was shown at several international festivals and nominated for Best British Short at the IRIS PRIZE.

Skjønnheten skal frelse verden (2024) is his third short film and is also a pilot for the series project IDIOTEN, which is in development under NFI's debutant scheme Neo. The film is shown as part of the short film program KORTREIST at the Oslo Pix Film Festival 2024.
