Erik Gustavson

Erik Gustavson (b. 1955) is a Norwegian film director, screenwriter, producer, and creative director. He began his career in the film industry as a photographer's assistant in the early 1970s. He first directed, produced, and photographed a number of short films. His short film Rendezvous from 1984 won the Amanda Prize in 1985 in the category of best short film/short television program, while the feature films Herman and Telegrafisten were Norway's nominees for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 1990 and 1993, respectively. He has received Gullblyanten for the best commercial film twice.
