Work-in-Progress: Beau-Geste & Kameleon
This year’s work-in-progress dives into the creative process behind the upcoming films BEAU-GESTE and KAMELEON. Join us for a conversation with the directors and a screening of selected clips.
Beau-Geste is a film essay portraying a writer’s encounter with horses and the stable – an intimate exploration of the complexity found in meeting «the other». Horseback riding becomes a path toward new insights into what it means to be human today, in the Anthropocene age we are destined to live in – engaged in a dialogue with the world as it is now, and as it was two thousand years ago.
Kameleon is a powerful short film for young audiences that explores how different worlds can collide—and how true friendship can emerge in the most unexpected places. The film is directed by Linda Bournane, with Elisa Fernanda Pirir as producer.
