On Wednesday 27.08, we’re bringing a small slice of the Short Film Festival in Grimstad to Oslo for the best late-summer pub crawl. The concept: six great short films at four great bars in Løkka, all within comfortable walking distance.

THOSE WHO WAIT (Embla Åslein, 18 min)

When Johanne is left behind in her crush’s apartment, she becomes desperate to find a reason to stay until he returns.

MERCY (Hedda Mjøen, 27 min)

Guro stumbles upon her old best friend, Petter, recently accused of rape in a high profile case. Trying to stay neutral, Guro is soon forced to decide whether she can still be friends with him.

HUNGER (Hamza Kader, 10 min)

After receiving rejection after rejection, Job wanders restlessly around the city, where reality soon begins to fade in a spiral of daydreams, driven by hunger and despair. Loosely based on Knut Hamsun’s novel «Hunger»

MOTHERBABY (Kristine Hartgen, 5 min)

The film’s director is pregnant with her first child. The embryo inside her is no larger than a poppy seed, yet it raises a profound and terrifying question: Will I die if you get to live? The «I» that I know?

SUGAR PAPA (Filippa Lenth, 9 min)

Alva (24) meets with ex-boyfriend Geir (50). Her current boyfriend Lester (27) has convinced her that their relationship was wrong due to the age gap. When Lester becomes the driving force behind making Geir feel guilty, a conflict between the two men over who is truly the victim arises.

SUCK MY DICK (Clara Vida, 7 min)

At her first high school party, Ada gives her very first blow job to the coolest boy in school. Soon after, the rumor spreads like wildfire. With her reputation for the next three years in danger, she is forced to think and act quick.

Pix Pub Crawl

On Wednesday 27.08, we’re bringing a slice of the Short Film Festival in Grimstad to Oslo! Six short films will be screened across four bars in the Grünerløkka area – HAUS, Ingensteds, SYNG, and MIR – all within easy walking distance. It all kicks off at 18.00.

Free and no registration required. First come, first served!
