KORTREIST 2025 – Oslo Shorts

Seven of the best short films from the Oslo region gathered in one short film program.

Poor Me (Liv Joelle Barbosa Blad, 20 min)

Nora is caught shoplifting before Christmas, sparking a major argument with her parents about values. When all blame falls on her, she pressures her younger sister, Amalie, to confess as well. But on Christmas Eve, they are in for a surprise.

Love Syndrome (Norah Jenny Rondestvedt, 5 min)

Love Syndrome is a film that captures the tenderness of young people as they confront and navigate the beginnings of relationships. What are the joys and consequences of love?

Do Not Tread (Miriam Sunde, Badrudin Ga'ur, 15 min)

Farid receives an unexpected visit from a child welfare worker during his daughter Hadiyah's birthday party. When his Moroccan family arrives soon after, he tries to keep her mission a secret in order to maintain his own facade.

Crossroads - Niilas (Lea Meyer, 4 min)

In Peder Niilas' debut music video we we are introduced to his alter ego—a scruffy waiter at Crossroads Café, serving meatballs, burgers, and ice cream. The café is a seemingly ordinary place with slightly less ordinary people, where strange things can occur. 

Some are Ducks (Leander Falkenberg, 17 min)

Throughout a calendar year we spend time with the ducks along the Akerselva river in Oslo, observing the world as they see it pass by.

Bedsores (Johannes Veine Wiig, 9 min)

Why do we never talk about sex? Boyfriend size? An innocent discussion among friends turns sour.

Out of Mind (Erik Ivar Sæther, Nicolai Berg Hansson, 12 min)

A man attends a dinner party with his wife, only to find himself locked in a strange situation.

Flash Pitch

Before the screening of KORTREIST at Vega 1, eight one-minute short film pitches will be presented. After the flash pitch session, the audience will vote for their favorite project. The winner will receive a prize of NOK 10,000 from Mediefabrikken.

The event is presented in collaboration with Mediefabrikken.

After Party

Following the short film programme screenings in Vega 1 and 3, there will be an afterparty in the Lower Foyer at Vega Scene.
