Miriam Sunde
Miriam Sunde is a Norwegian-Moroccan screenwriter and director based in Oslo. She studied drama in Australia and London before graduating from a Norwegian film school in 2022 with a focus on directing. Since then, she has written and directed several short films and two original miniseries, participated in international development programs, and presented original ideas at industry forums. In 2024, she won a pitching competition in Oslo and sat on juries for best drama series and short films.
Badrudin Ga'ur is a Norwegian-Somali screenwriter and director based in Oslo. He holds a degree in directing from Westerdals, Kristiania University College. He has written and directed four short films and a TV miniseries.
Together, their work explores themes such as immigration, identity, and social issues. They are currently in development of two original political thriller series. DO NOT TREAD is a personal story based on real events that happened to the Moroccan father of Miriam, which resulted in him leaving Norway. Miriam and her father recently began developing a relationship after 10 years apart.
