Ping Pong Family
The ping pong tables in Oslo has become an important meeting place for people from whole world.
In Grünerløkka, Oslo, you will find the country's most popular ping pong tables. As long as the weather allows, an enthusiastic group gathers daily to play, hang out, and get to know each other. The tables are provided by the municipality, but the activities are organized by a small group of dedicated enthusiasts.
As the community has grown, its relationship with the district has become more strained. Many of the ping pong enthusiasts have a more liberal attitude toward drugs than the municipality appreciates. When it is decided that Schous Square should become more child- and family-friendly, both the ping pong tables and the community are at risk.
