About the film PING PONG FAMILY:

In Grünerløkka, Oslo, you will find the country's most popular outdoor ping-pong tables. As long as the weather permits, an enthusiastic group gathers year-round to play, hang out, and get to know each other. The municipality places the tables, but a small group of enthusiasts organizes the activity.

About the Sofienberg Project:

The Sofienberg Project is an innovation project focused on the new use of Sofienberg Church as a low-threshold meeting place and cultural arena for children, youth, and the neighborhood. Sofienberg Church was taken out of service as a parish church in 2019. In collaboration with teams, associations, children, youth, and the neighborhood, we will explore what the church building and park can be used for in the future. Sparebankstiftelsen DNB and the Directorate for Children, Youth, and Family Affairs support the project. Read more here: Sofienberg Project.

About Oslo Street Ping Pong:

We are a collective whose goal is to develop and promote outdoor ping-pong culture. We aim to encourage everyone to pick up a racket and come out to their local park to play, whether they're younger or older, experienced or inexperienced. Anyone can play with a little practice!
