Gritt

Gritt, formerly known as Gry-Jeanette, went from acting school to Hollywood but quickly hit a wall and changed course. 17 years of wandering later, she returns to Oslo.

While her former school friends have careers on Oslo's theatre stages, she is passionate about a great, radical art project. But there is a lack of interest and financial support.  

When Gritt receives a devastating rejection and also loses the apartment she has borrowed, her situation becomes desperate. An opportunity to work at a theatre arises, and Gritt seizes it. She secretly moves in behind the stage, and while the theatre group tours, Gritt starts working on her own play with the aim of burying capitalism and the patriarchy for good.
