Once again, Oslo Pix Film Festival and Dansens Hus invite you to a dance film program at Dansens Hus. Welcome to feature films focusing on dance as narrative, ageism, and queerness.
On Wednesday, 27.08, we’ll screen the two feature films TOXIC and THEY WILL BE DUST, both of which use dance and choreography as tools for storytelling and narrative development.
Between the films, a panel discussion will explore the relationship between dance and film—narrative and effect. The conversation will examine the function of dance as a narrative device in feature films and cinematic approaches in performing arts, dance, and choreography.
