After the film, there will be an afterparty in the Lower Foyer at Vega Scene. The party is open for everyone.
About the film
THE NEW MUSEUM explores the making of the new National Museum for Art, Architecture and Design. Through observational footage, Birgitte Sigmundstad takes us into the meeting rooms and onto the construction site. We meet the people working with the art, see works and objects being prepared for relocation, and witness the old museum buildings that have now become history. Without rushing, the film brings us into discussions and planning processes, and we follow the architect’s ups and downs.
