Ida Sagmo Tvedte
Ida Sagmo Tvedte (b. 1979) is a screenwriter and director, and has been behind several of NRK Super’s recent successes for children and young adults. As creator and director of the Christmas series STJERNESTØV (2020), she won the award for Best New Series at the Kidscreen Awards in 2021. The audience hit SNØFALL (2016) won Gullruten in 2017.
She contributed to the development, writing, and directing of NRK’s web drama series SARA (2008), MIA (2010), and JENTER (2013). In 2015, she was nominated for both Prix Jeunesse and Gullruten’s Craft Award for Best Directing for her work on the series SOFIA FLUX OG DET MAGISKE HØREAPPARATET. With the miniseries SOL SNART SEKS (2016), she received Kidscreen’s "Creative Talent" award.
She directed four episodes of GUTTA PÅ SKAUEN (2022), written by Erlend Loe, Per Schreiner, and Bjørn Olaf Johannesen.
SHINING BRIGHTLY is her feature film debut.
