Mauritz Brekke Solberg og Daniel Fure Schwarz
Film directors Mauritz Brekke Solberg and Daniel Fure Schwarz are educated from the film specialization at Westerdals and together with 4 other partners started the company Ferdi Film in 2017. Their bachelor project Birthright gained attention when it competed under Nordic Talents in 2017 and was nominated for a student BAFTA in 2018. Mauritz and Daniel have several long-format projects in development together but have also collaborated in different constellations. On the short film Juli, which premiered at the Palm Springs Shortfest in 2022, Daniel was the screenwriter and Mauritz the director. Offline is their latest short film and is based on experienced situations from their 5-year career in the advertising film industry.
