Mariken Halle
Mariken Halle is a filmmaker from Oslo. She received her education at Nordland Art and Film School and Akademin Valand in Gothenburg. In 2011, Halle co-founded the production company Vapen och dramatik with Clara Bodén and Ronja Svenning Berge. They created films including Kanskje i morgen (2011) and The World is Waiting (2014). Since 2017, she has been a part of Alternativet Production alongside Magnus Mork, Guro Bruusgaard, and Katja Eyde Jacobsen. With this team, she directed the feature film We Are Here Now (2020) and is currently in production with Uteskolen. In January 2021, she co-founded Filmbyrået Jack, an artist and curator-driven distribution platform.
