Ellen Ugelstad
Award-winning filmmaker Ellen Ugelstad received a BFA in Film and Television from the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco, California. She founded the collective TWENTYONEPICTURES, an independent production company when she returned to Norway. Ugelstad's work often explores the thin line between normality and madness; power and powerlessness. Her works have won several international awards. Her latest film The Recovery Channel is a unique hybrid that will be released in 2023.
