Bill Bering
Bill Bering was born and raised in Greenland. For the last 25 years, Bill has worked in cinemas and film festivals in Greenland and Denmark. As a self-taught film operator and cinema manager, he has worked in Katuaq - Greenland's Cultural Center from 1998 to 2020 over several periods as the cinema's only full-time employee. Bill has also worked as artistic director and technical advisor for the Nuuk International Film Festival in Greenland between 2017 and 2021, which focuses on original filmmakers primarily from the Arctic area.Bill is also the co-founder of CPH Native Film Festival with Empire Bio in Copenhagen in 2023, focusing on indigenous films from around the world.
