When does your ability to make your own choices come to an end? And who should make that decision? This award-winning family drama masterfully explores the complexities of consent.

A woman with dementia can no longer express herself, and her husband and daughter struggle to determine what is best for her. Amanda and her stepfather, Martin, find it difficult to make the right decision. Has her mother, Leslie, lost the ability to make important choices? And if so, who bears the responsibility? Is it her husband, her child, or an institution? Amanda and Martin are forced to make increasingly difficult decisions, and the consequences of their choices begin to spiral out of control.

The film had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival and stars Juliette Binoche, Anna Calder-Marshall, and Tom Courtenay. The latter two won Best Supporting Performance awards at the festival, and the film received the Jury Prize.
