When they left, Maja's two brothers stayed behind, but they promised to get them once the family has settled in Denmark. The new country turns out to be far less hospitable than they had imagined. Director Marijana Janković was the same age as Maja when she to Denmark from Ivangrad, and partially builds the film on her own experiences. The result is a gripping and universal story about being a refugee, with excellent performances from Dejan Čukić and Trine Dyrholm, to name a few.
