Euphoria
A visually stunning film version of artist Julian Rosefeldt's installation work on the destructive power of capitalism and greed.
In this ambitious work, Rosefeldt takes us on a journey through the history of economic theory and human greed. The film assembles texts from known economists, authors, philosophers and poets, and explores how capitalism remains the only alternative. Cate Blanchett, who starred in his previous film MANIFESTO, plays the role of a cynical tiger who loots a supermarket. And Giancarlo Esposito repeats his role as YoYo from Jim Jarmusch's NIGHT ON EARTH.
