In war-torn Ukraine, nature is being destroyed by Russian forces.
Craters in the fields, charred trees and the rusting wrecks of military vehicles. Without dialogue or narration, DIVIA shows how Russia's warfare is destroying Ukraine's natural landscape – but also how resilient nature is, and how people are helping to save it. Over the course of two years, director Dmytro Hreshko filmed the catastrophic damage the war is inflicting on the natural world.
The film had its world premiere in the main competition at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in 2025.
The screening is done in collaboration with Ukrainian Film Days.
