Allegro Pastell

Tanja and Jerome try to navigate a long-distance relationship in this film based on Leif Randt's cult novel.

Tanja is an acclaimed author living in Berlin's Neukölln. She uses her own life as raw material for her novels. When she meets Jerome one day at a book signing, they fall for each other instantly. The problem is that Jerome lives in Maintal, outside Frankfurt. At first, they have the long-distance relationship fully under control, but over time Tanja begins to wonder whether this is really what she wants.

ALLEGRO PASTELL is a beautiful, melancholic portrait of two people in their thirties trying to figure out what they want from life. The film premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year.
