Small Things Like These

Bill delivers coal in the small town of New Ross, where he lives with his wife and five daughters. During a delivery to a local convent, he discovers signs of abuse – and is soon confronted with both the community’s and his own complicity. This intense character drama, featuring a powerful lead performance by Cillian Murphy, poses the timeless question: When should we speak out against injustice – and what are the consequences of staying silent? 

The film was the opening film of last year's Berlin Film Festival.
