Reprise

Two friends dream of becoming writers, and their lives are filled with literary ambition, love, depression, and budding careers.

Then everything happens. Phillip publishes his first book, falls madly in love with Kari, but becomes ill and is admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Erik’s book is finally published too, which triggers a paralyzing fear of being exposed as completely talentless; his neuroses are flaring up, his girlfriend is on her way out, and his friendship with Phillip is beginning to fall apart.

As a warm-up to the festival, REPRISE will be shown at an outdoor cinema in St. Hanshaugen Park at 21:00 on Friday 22.08. The film’s lead actors, Anders Danielsen Lie and Espen Klouman Høiner, will introduce the screening.
