After a dramatic birth of the child Julia and Georg have dreamed of for a long time, Julia is left with an unpleasant feeling. What if the child she gave birth to isn’t really hers?

At a clinic run by the mysterious Dr. Vilfort, the baby is taken from her immediately after birth. When she gets him back, something feels wrong – the baby doesn’t cry and never seems hungry.
