After a dramatic birth of the child Julia and Georg have dreamed of for a long time, Julia is left with an unpleasant feeling. What if the child she gave birth to isn’t really hers?

At a clinic run by the mysterious Dr. Vilfort, the baby is taken from her immediately after birth. When she gets him back, something feels wrong – the baby doesn’t cry and never seems hungry. Julia tries to express her concerns, but is dismissed by both Georg and the medical staff, and begins to doubt herself. Mother’s Baby is a disquieting psychological drama about maternal instinct.
