Sons
The prison officer Eva faces the greatest dilemma of her life when a young man from her past is transferred to the prison where she works.
Eva, played by Sidse Babett Knudsen, excels in her job in the low-risk ward. She is an idealist, treating the inmates kindly, focusing her work on rehabilitation, and overseeing math and meditation classes. However, when a group of inmates is transferred from another ward, she realizes that one of them is a person from her past who caused her immense pain in her previous life. Sons is Gustav Möller's second film, following his breakthrough with The Guilty in 2018. His second film continues in the same style, offering an intense chamber drama with solid performances.
