September Says
Codependency and family are explored in this intense drama set in the Irish countryside.
The sisters July and September are complete opposites. September is protective and distrustful of others, while July is open and curious about the world around her. They have spent their entire lives together until one day when September is suspended from school, and July has to manage without her for the first time. The tension between the two sisters, as well as with their mother, Sheela, increases as July starts to become more independent from her sister.
The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024.
