Julie er snart 30 år, hun har mange talenter, men få resultater og føler seg mer og mer som en birolle i sitt eget liv.

Julie is about to turn 30 years old, she has several talents, but few results to show for them, and feels more and more like a supporting character in her own life.

Her boyfriend, Aksel – a bit older, and a successful cartoonist – wants to start a family, but Julie holds back. One night she sneaks into a party where she meets a young and charming guy. Soon she has left Aksel and thrown herself into a new relationship. Julie fights to keep every door open but soon understands that some life choices already lie behind her.
