Mars Express

In the near future, private detective Aline Ruby and her android partner are hired by a wealthy businessman to track down an infamous hacker.

In Mars Express we find ourselves on Mars after Earth is destroyed. We follow private detective Aline Ruby and her partner Carlos Rivera, an android reconstruction of her deceased partner. Together, they investigate a group of hackers working to free robots and cyborgs living under strict human control. What begins as a simple case puts Aline and Carlos in a crossfire with potentially fatal consequences for both humanity and artificially intelligent beings.

Jérémie Périn (b. 1977) is a French director and scriptwriter of animated films, known for the music videos Truckers Delight and Fantasy, and as the director of the animated series Lastman. The animated film Mars Express is his first feature film, premiering at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023.
