Finally, director Mona Johanne Hoel makes her comeback as a director! This very charming dramedy, which is both written, directed, and edited by Hoel, sees a true return to form and to the rough and energetic style which won her international acknowledgement in the early 2000s.

A young woman with a past consisting of both severe neglect and time behind bars, responds to an ad put out by two handymen. She wants to replace the deep green paint in the flat she’s borrowing from her authoritarian yet absent father – maybe that will lift her spirits? As it turns out, the two painters are also not at the best place in their lives, and they keep arguing between themselves, but decide to take the job and help the girl. They soon discover there is more than a mere paint job that’s needed in the flat. They start making themselves very much at home.
