The Oslo premiere of a new and longer version of the documentary about Aurora Aksnes – followed by a conversation with Aurora and the filmmakers!

You love to sing. You get discovered, release a record, get tons of fans who shout out your name and behave as if they know you personally. You start to get some doubts: Do I enjoy being a pop star, to be a public persona? Is it worth it – and for what?

To Aurora Aksnes, the answer to these questions lies in making music that she believes in with every fibre of her being. Once Aurora follows the now 22-year-old artist as she works on her second album, Infections of a Different Kind, two years after her debut album sent her touring the world. We meet an artist and a human being with a significant need for peace and quiet, but also with a strong and distinct artistic vision and a desire to reach an audience. The film gets up close and personal with Aurora, and pays special attention to her collaboration with Geir Luedy, her manager of many years.
