World's Coolest Day 2026

You have probably been to the cinema before, but have you seen a film outdoors? On the World's Coolest Day you can experience cinema magic under open skies.

Oslo Pix Filmfestival has put together a programme with short films for all ages. Towards the end of the day, a feature film screens for those who want to rest their legs. Visit the area Smuget for a social film experience – we serve free popcorn.

Program

• 11.00 - 14.15: SHORT FILM PROGRAM of approx. 30 minutes, screened multiple times.
• 14.30 - 15.50: LITTLE AMELIE OR THE CHARACTER OF RAIN (Norwegian dubbing, Norwegian subtitles)

• Akershus Fortress, Saturday 29.08, 11.00 - 16.00
• Short film program starts at 11.00 – the programme runs for approx. 30 minutes and screens multiple times until approx. 14.15 Age limit: all ages.
• Feature film LITTLE AMELIE OR THE CHARACTER OF RAIN starts at 14.30. The film runs for 1 hour and 17 minutes and has Norwegian dubbing and Norwegian subtitles. Age limit 6.
• Oslo Pix Filmfestival is located at Smuget, not far from Karpedammen
• The event is free for children and adults.
