Film & Conversation // Live Podcast with Level Up

Ahead of the screening of GRAND THEFT HAMLET on Tuesday, 27.08.24, there will be a live podcast recording organized by Level Up. Rune Fjeld Olsen, Karl-Martin Hogsnes and Mattis Folkestad will have a conversation about «Machinima» – using the game world to create film productions.

In GRAND THEFT HAMLET, two unemployed filmmakers decide to stage Shakespeare's Hamlet inside the game Grand Theft Auto. This is just one example of how video game players use the virtual world to do something other than what the game developers intended.
