Oslo Pix Film Festival opens this year with film and music. We will show the film A TIGER IN PARADISE about the musician José González at Sentrum Scene, followed by conversation and musical inputs by José González himself.
A Tiger In Paradise is a surreal visit into the musician José González's inner world of thoughts and shadows, staged with grotesque humor and picturesque scenery. González has experienced several psychotic episodes in his life, a condition where he cannot distinguish between fantasy and reality. After becoming a father, he decided to shape his life according to strict routines and scientific theories while writing the lyrics for his new album.
It will be an exclusive evening with José González, with the film A Tiger In Paradise followed by a unique live show where José gives us an insight into his world of ideas, performing some of his most personal and popular songs.
