Join us in creating a film festival for youth!

We need dedicated volunteers who want to contribute to ensuring that Oslo's 9th graders have unique experiences with quality films in the cinema during Oslo Pix Ung from May 27th to 31st

Oslo Pix Film Festival and Den Kulturelle Skolesekken want to raise awareness and enthusiasm for film as a medium and artistic expression among school students. That's why we created Oslo Pix Ung. Here, students get to watch movies and meet directors, actors, or other professionals working behind the scenes on a film set, who share insights into their fields and how they work.

What can you help us with?

During the festival week, we organize screenings for all 9th graders in Oslo at Ringen and Odeon cinemas. As a volunteer at the school film festival, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of these screenings. You will welcome students and teachers, assist with admissions and cleaning up, and ensure that speakers and festival guests have everything they need. Your contribution is invaluable, and in return, you'll have the opportunity to watch films during the regular program of the Oslo Pix Film Festival in August/September.

We expect you to be service-oriented, responsible, and prepared for busy and calm work. It's also advantageous if you're comfortable speaking in front of audiences, but it's optional.

You must be 18 years or older to volunteer at Oslo Pix Ung.
