Norwegian director and screenwriter Joachim Trier has received international acclaim for all his five feature films. THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD (2021), which earned Renate Reinsve the Best Actress award at the Festival de Cannes, also won a BAFTA and received two Academy Award nominations. SENTIMENTAL VALUE marks his sixth collaboration with co-writer Eskil Vogt.
