Efterklang: The Makedonium Band
This documentary is an innovative and heartwarming reminder of the groundbreaking, unifying power inherent in the nature of music.
Efterklang will perform a mini-concert and participate in a conversation in connection with the screening at SALT on August 27, 2024.
Without any plans, the Danish band Efterklang arrives in North Macedonia to create a spectacular performance in collaboration with local musicians. The concert is set to take place in front of the magnificent Freedom Monument Makedonium, known for its distinctive architecture. The project takes the band on a journey from the capital, through the countryside, up into the mountains, and all the way to the political elite in search of allied musicians and the country's unique folk music tradition.
