Hør her'a!
Kaveh Tehrani’s feature film debut, based on Gulraiz Sharif’s successful novel, takes us to Groruddalen and introduces us for 13 year old Mahmoud.
Summer holiday is close, and something he looks forward to the most is hanging out with his one-eyed friend Arif. A summer job, and by extension cash, which he sadly does not have. A summer that at the outset looks to be completely normal is quickly turned on its head when Uncle Ji from Pakistan comes to visit, and his little brother is going through changes. In the same way as Gulrai Sharif’s novel, the film manages to bring out serious issues through humor. A good dose of sarcasm brings out cultural differences and the chasm between generations in the warmest film of the year.
