A movie about the bond between animals and humans – and a bit about sausages!

Nine-year-old Babbe loves animals. She loves them so much that she has become a vegetarian. What she wants more than anything in the world is her own dog. Unfortunately, that is impossible since her father is very allergic.

One day, her previously unknown grandfather appears, and he brings a gift—a very funny and allergy-friendly pet pig! Babbe loves her new friend and treats little Nøff as if he were a dog. She teaches Nøff to give paws and fetch sticks and gives him lots of love. That is until she discovers that her grandfather was once among the strongest competitors in the great sausage championship. Could grandfather have gotten Nøff with sinister ulterior motives?
