Swedish musician Silvana Imam has family ties from Lithuania and Syria, she’s a fierce feminist, openly lesbian, and currently one of the very biggest rap stars in Scandinavia. Her political and uncompromising lyrics have made her a voice to be reckoned with both on and off the stage, and she’s been named artist of the year and songwriter of the year in Sweden.

In a short amount of time, Silvana has grown from being an underground artist known only to the select few, into an icon that has captivated audiences in Sweden and beyond.
