Gordon & Paddy

A nut thief is on the loose! Someone has stolen almost the entire nut depot of poor Valdemar the squirrel. Chief Gordon will have to catch the thief, but he is sadly alone as chief for the entire forest. Gordon is best at stamping papers, listen to statements and think quietly until he comes up with a sound solution – and now he’ll have to chase around the forest all on his own, in the snow, in order to look for clues and catch the thief. He could have really used an assistant, that way they’d be sure to solve the nut mystery. Maybe Paddy the mouse could help him?

Gordon & Paddy is based on the children’s book series by Ulf Nilsson and Gitte Spee, about Chief Gordon. Things don’t move along very quickly when Gordon and his assistant Paddy are out and about on assignments, but on the bright side that gives the pair plenty of time to eat cookies and talk about life. This animated feature has a simple and charming story about prejudice and exclusion is a great fit for the very youngest audiences. NB: The film is dubbed into Norwegian.
