FATHERHOOD // What is the problem, really?
FATHERHOOD follows Kris, David, and Sindre – three men in a polyamorous relationship who are expecting their first child. The story challenges traditional notions of gender, family, and parenthood, and gives voice to a reality that many still meet with skepticism or resistance.
The debate on trans rights and nontraditional family structures has become one of the most polarized conversations of our time. Why is it so difficult to talk about? Is it a matter of lacking knowledge, of culture and religion, or of ethical questions we don’t quite dare to confront?
For Etikkrådet (The Ethics Council), we gather voices to go straight into the heart of the conflict and explore whether there is room for a more nuanced conversation.
The panel will be in Norwegian.
