Here is the festival program
Oslo Pix marks the beginning of summer. From May 31– June 10, you can experience pre-premieres and quality films on our digital platform – and hopefully in cinemas. Finally, the complete program for this year's festival is released!
With this program, we invite audiences across the country to experience films that will excite and provoke, enrich and delight. Here you'll find action, laughter, love, in-depth documentaries and films that challenge boundaries.

This year's opening film is the Danish action comedy Riders of Justice by Anders Thomas Jensen, and the Swedish audience favorite Run Uje Run has the honour of closing the festival. We have already revealed the entire program for this year's Pix Politics section consisting of five hard-hitting documentaries and panel discussions that engage in a wide array of current issues.
We have also this year invited many of the filmmakers behind the program to present their films to our audiences. Read more about this year's festival guests and events, which will be all-digital.

Oslo Grand Pix – Films in competition
Sharp, challenging, beautiful and captivating films compete for the Oslo Grand Pix Prize in three competition programs: International, Nordic Fiction and Nordic Documentary.
Along with the opening film and closing film, the Norwegian film HIM by Guro Brusgaard is competing for Oslo Grand Pix: Nordic Fiction. We are proud to announce that the section also comprises a pre-premiere of Norwegian Gritt, directed by Itonje Søimer Guttormsen.

Oslo Pix also has the honour of hosting the Norwegian premieres of the two documentaries Trust Me and Hello World, which compete with five other titles in Oslo Grand Pix: Nordic Documentary.
The international competition program has a broad scope of form and genre. Here, we find five forceful feature films and one documentary, including the Oscar-nominated feature film Quo Vadis, Aida? addressing the Srebrenica genocide. Today, we can also reveal that Mona Fastvold's newest film The World to Come will have exclusive pre-premieres during Oslo Pix if the cinemas in Oslo open.

Program release, podcast and special screening
In a special episode of the podcast "Filmfrelst" recorded for the occasion, the film magazine Montages will see you through the many strong films on this year's program. The conversation is in Norwegian.
Later this evening, we invite you to an exclusive digital screening of the film Mogul Mowgli, an explosive musical drama starring newly Oscar-nominated Riz Ahmed. Read about the film below.

This year’s festival
Fortunately, the reopening of Oslo is underway, but it is currently challenging to plan for a film festival beginning on May 31. Therefore, this year's edition of Oslo Pix will be digital.
If cinemas in Oslo reopen, we invite you to screenings at Vega Scene and Vika cinema between June 2 and June 6, and a limited number of the films in the program will be screened exclusively on the big screen. These films will be available for cinema screenings.
